Rachel Norman is a soulful pop songstress and actress from NYC. She has recently released her debut EP Resist, and graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a double minor in Italian and Women's & Gender Studies Studies.
Post graduation, Rachel signed with Take 3 Talent Agency and has begun to professionally audition throughout New York. She has headlined her music at Pianos, The Delancey, Rockwood Music Hall, WMUH 91.7 FM, and the Boston Summer Music Series.
Her debut EP Resist features collaborations with Executive Producer Luke Aymon, jazz composer/pianist Jason Leonahard, songwriter/guitarist Kris Wong, DJ/producer CLOCKWORK DJ, and Mike Abiuso of Behind the Curtains Media.
Resist has received significant acclaim throughout many major magazines, podcasts, and other music publications. Most notably, Take Effect Reviews states "A grand introduction to the world, Norman knows her way around universally embraceable song craft, and the hints of jazz, textured melodies, and soothing grooves make each tune present a candidate for becoming the next household name pop artist."
I have a passion for internships! I've interned at New Light Theatre Project, Access Theatre, Behind the Curtains Media, and New York Vocal Coaching!
